Phasira: la nuova Paseo / Phasira: the new Paseo

Inserita tra i prototipi nel 2005, la Paseo non ha mai trovato fino ad ora la propria realizzazione forse perchè si trattava di un progetto ambizioso... La Phasira può considerarsi una diretta discendente della Paseo, perchè ne riprende alcune caratteristiche stilistiche, spingendosi oltre: nel territorio delle "grandi berline". Nonostante la mia produzione abbia costantemente contemplato la presenza di berline a tre volumi, sono però stato un pò restio dal presentarle, dal momento che non mi convincevano mai del tutto. D'altronde la mia passione è disegnare le piccole auto, le cosiddette auto cittadine. La Phasira è un'auto elegante e spaziosa, pensata per la famiglia e non solo. Rispetto alla Paseo, è sicuramente più "voluminosa": ha aggiunto infatti il terzo volume. Di seguito potete notare, attraverso i disegni, il percorso evolutivo che ha determinato la metamorfosi della Paseo in Phasira.

The Phasira can be considered a direct descendant of the Paseo, because it takes some stylistic features, going well: in the territory of the "big sedans." Despite my production has steadily contemplated the presence of sedans in three volumes, but I was a bit reluctant from the present, since it did not convince me at all ever. Besides my passion is designing small cars, the so-called city car. The Phasira is a very stylish and spacious, designed for the family and beyond. Compared to the Paseo, is definitely more "voluminous" he added in fact the third volume. Fuoristrada mycar / Mycar off-road

Non è possibile stabilire il momento esatto in cui la mia passione per l'auto è iniziata, tantomeno quella per i fuoristrada... un segmento che raramente ho trattato, vista la mia predilezione per le citycar. Riguardando attentamente i miei disegni dal 1988 ad oggi, però, mi sono reso conto, con mia sorpresa, che qualche "jeep" è sempre venuta fuori nel corso degli anni, sottoforma di schizzo, scarabocchio... E negli ultimi anni i miei sforzi si sono concentrati sulla riedizione di alcuni modelli: Labaro, Ramon, Squazy, Kubò. Alcuni di essi rappresentano il fuoristrada "tout court", altri invece si identificano meglio nella categoria SUV.

It is not possible to determine the exact moment when I started my passion for the car, not to mention that for off-road ... a segment that I have rarely treated, given my predilection for citycar. Carefully reviewing my drawings from 1988 to the present, however, I realized, to my surprise, that some "jeep" is always coming out over the years, in the form of a sketch or doodle ... And in recent years, my efforts have focused on the re-release of some models: Labaro, Ramon, Squazy, Kubo. Some of them are off-road "tout court", while others identify themselves better in the SUV category.

Si tratta di esercizi di stile riguardanti la Labaro, fuoristrada di piccola taglia con vocazione da cittadina.

La prima Labaro risale al 1990, e si rifà alla spartana Lada Niva. Nel 1993 segue una seconda versione più spaziosa e razionale Nel 1994 viene proposta una versione più spaziosa e moderna ispirata alle Mitsubishi di quel periodo. Nel 2004 la Labaro diventa ancora più grande e si avvicina, nelle linee, alla categoria dei SUV. Quest'anno ho cercato di riproporre una Labaro, arrivata alla sua quinta edizione, più vicina alle origini: compatta e versatile e con una linea un pò più gradevole...

RaMoN

Ramon è un progetto di Suv risalente al 2007, al quale sono molto affezionato perché è uno di quei disegni che, non appena hai finito di realizzarli, ne sei soddisfatto. Pensi che non ci sia niente da cambiare, niente da aggiungere, poi lo riguardi, dopo qualche anno, e già consideri di effettuare qualche modifica, di migliorarlo, attualizzarlo, compararlo a qualche altro suv in produzione. Così  quest'anno, ho cercato di aggiornare questo lavoro apportando qualche modifica, aumentando la lunghezza del veicolo, soprattutto nella parte anteriore. Non ne sono ancora convinto al 100%. Credo di essere sulla buona strada, ma anche di dover fare ancora molto...

Il concetto di SUV mi ha sempre affascinato perchè il SUV domina la strada come un fuoristrada, ma non lo è, ha una linea gradevole da berlina, ma non è una berlina... Ci metti di tutto e tutti stanno comodamente. Puoi affrontare piccoli e lunghi tragitti e un SUV sa come coccolarti. L'unico neo? La difficoltà di parcheggio! E se si provasse a contenere le dimensioni? Ecco Frazia, una proposta di mini-suv  nata nel 2010 e ripresa in questi giorni con alcuni adattamenti stilistici.

The concept of the SUV has always fascinated me because the SUV dominates the road like a jeep but it is not a jeep, it has a nice line like a sedan, but it's not a sedan ... You can put us everything and everyone feels comfortable. You can tackle small and long distances and an SUV knows how to pamper. The only drawback? The difficulty of parking! Bia nasce dal bisogno di rappresentare nuove forme d’espressione attraverso linee più dinamiche e meno scontate, tuttavia senza allontanarsi dal percorso iniziato all’inizio di quest’anno con il quale mi ponevo l’obiettivo di creare qualcosa di fattibile e confrontabile con altre citycar in produzione. I miei modelli di riferimento sono infatti la Suzuky Alto, la Renault Modus, la Nuova Lancia Y, ecc… Il progetto in realtà vede la sua luce nel 2007, ma viene sviluppato cinque anni dopo con un massiccio restyling, soprattutto per quanto riguarda il frontale. Si tratta di una citycar dalle linee morbide e raccolte, poco ingombrante e con qualche vezzo stilistico…

Passo 2012: evoluzione di una citycar / Passo 2012: evolution of a citycar

Nel 2003 nasce Passo, una piccola citycar che fa l'occhiolino all'eleganza della Lancia Y ma di dimensioni più contenute. Si pone piuttosto come alternativa alla fiat 600 di quel periodo ma con qualche velleità stilistica in più.
In questi giorni mi sono impegnato non solo in un’operazione di restyling ma anche in una sorta di rappresentazione realistica del progetto in termini di fattibilità. Ho infatti comparato la Passo 2012 ad altre citycar esistenti in commercio (Fiat 500, Volkswagen Fox, Opel Agila ). Tutto ciò perché in fondo credo che ogni idea fantasiosa, per emozionare, debba mettere i piedi per terra nella realtà in cui viene concepita e questo avviene solo quando tale idea è resa comprensibile anche agli altri.

"Passo" was founded in 2003, a small city car that winks at the elegance of the Lancia Y, but with smaller dimensions. Arises rather as an alternative to the fiat 600 of that period but with more stylistic pretensions.
These days I am committed not only in a facelift operation but also in a sort of realistic representation of the project in terms of feasibility. In fact, I have compared the "Passo 2012" to other commercially available superminis (Fiat 500, Volkswagen Fox, Opel Agila). All this because basically I think that every idea imaginative, to enthuse, should put his feet on the ground in the reality in which it is conceived and this happens only when that idea is made comprehensible to others.

In questi giorni ho lavorato ad un progetto che risale al 2005 e che, per qualche motivo, avevo messo da parte. Succede, a volte, di iniziare qualcosa, mossi da un sincero entusiasmo e, dopo averci lavorato parecchio, dedicarsi ad altro. Il progetto Idium comprende l'elaborazione di quattro disegni partendo da un modello base. Si tratta infatti di una citycar da cui derivano una microcar, una berlina a tre volumi e una station wagon. In questa rielaborazione mi sono concentrato principalmente al modello citycar, a mio avviso il più credibile… ecco cosa ne è venuto fuori.

These days I worked on a project that dates back to 2005 and, for some reason, I had put aside. It happen to start, sometimes, something, motivated by a sincere enthusiasm, and after working a lot, to focus on other things. The Idium project includes the development of four drawings from a basic model. It is a city car from which derive a microcar, a notchback sedan and a wagon. In this revision, I focused mainly on the model city car, in my opinion the more credible ... that's what it came out.

Renault 4 cult

Dal momento che nel 2011 ricorre il cinquantesimo anniversario della Renault 4, oggi vi propongo questo "light restyling" del modello presentato nel 2010. Pochi sono stati gli interventi migliorativi perchè rimango dell'idea che il fascino della R4 consista nella sua semplicità di linee. Ho tentato di aumentare il passo e la lunghezza della vettura, addolcire le curvature del padiglione e dei passaruota. Aspetto fiducioso i vostri commenti.

Il 2003 è per me un anno di ricerca espessiva, ma anche di consolidamento di alcune idee sul cardesign: cerco di diversificare la produzione, introducendo, accanto alle piccole auto cittadine, il segmento delle medie, dei piccoli SUV, delle station wagon e delle coupè. Eccone qualche esempio.
