Quando ho deciso di realizzare la berlina "Magda", non avevo in mente questo nome, ma avrei voluto chiamarla "Fiura", dal momento che, mentre la disegnavo, avevo già in mente una figura (il che mi capita molto raramente)di quello che doveva essere questa tre volumi. Poi mi sono ricordato che esiste già una Lamborghini "Fiura" e quindi ho optato per il nome Magda, un nome che mettevo a tutte le berline più convincenti che riuscivo a disegnare. Infatti, a volte mi si dice che faccio solo auto piccole e non sono capace di fare altro, ma ciò non è vero se si va a vedere indietro nella mia produzione, dal 1988 ad oggi. Invece è vero che mi appassiona di più il mondo delle citycar. Magda è una tre volumi di medie dimensioni di sostanza, concepita per la famiglia, con qualche particolarità stilistica, senza eccessi, un compromesso tra la tradizione e la ricerca di qualcosa di nuovo.
